The Maze t-shirt has just been restocked, so it’s available in every size again :)

I’ve also got a brand new t-shirt design going on sale in the next few days, which I’m pretty excited about!

Annnnd, in the coming weeks I’ll be getting these three t-shirts reprinted, seeing as they all sold out earlier this month.

I know it’s not the most entertaining video, but I really wanted to help my sister raise money for a charity that’s close to her heart.

I wore this t-shirt to the post office today, and the post office lady said she liked it and she might get her son one. Then we had a nice little chat about the price of stamps.

I’ve decided to try and sell off some of my older designs to hopefully make way for some new ones. So, you can get any of these t-shirts for £6 now.

There’s limited sizes for a couple of the tees, but check them out in case there’s any left in your size. Once they’ve sold out, I won’t be getting these designs reprinted. And all the money from these t-shirts will be going back into getting new designs printed, so it’d really help out if you could afford to buy one.

Here’s a sneak peak at one of two new designs which will go on sale next week.

Both designs were illustrated by a designer called Greg Abbott. I’ve been following Greg’s work for a while now, and I really love his style, so I thought it would be fun to collaborate with him. His designs are all really bold and fun; they have a lot of great little details whilst still keeping that simplistic feel to them, which I think is really important in t-shirt design. Overall I think both designs will fit in perfectly with the clothing line. This one in particular is great, ‘cause it features a GIRAFFE!

I really hope you’ll like them :D

I’ve been listening to Gold Panda’s album a lot recently. I saw him play a set at the opening of an art exhibition in Byker a few months ago, and I instantly fell in love. He produces this electronic music which is so wonderfully ambient that you get completely lost in it. It almost has a hypnotic feel to it. He spent years scouring charity shops and car boot sales for old LPs, VHS tapes, etc… which he’d use to take little soundbites from, to build a catalogue of tiny samples which he could mix alongside electronic beats. It gives the music so much depth. I like listening to it just before I go to sleep, when all the lights are off and I can just lie in bed and let the music consume me. I’m writing and sending out Christmas cards to anyone who orders a “raincloud/muffin” t-shirt or an “I like giraffes” t-shirt this month. I’d send cards out with every order, but my sister is shipping out the rest of the t-shirts for me while I’m in LA, so I can’t include cards with those orders sadly. I’ll probably send out separate cards to anyone who places a large order this month though.

When I was little, I used to love playing with toy soldiers. I’d take a bunch with me when I went for a bath, line them up around the sides of the tub, and have mini battles with them. Every time one of the soldiers “got shot”, I’d knock them in to the water until one of the sides had won! I’m sure I’m not the only one who used to do this?!

As you might know, I like to send out random little gifts with my t-shirts, so if you order either a “raincloud/muffin” t-shirt or an “I like giraffes” t-shirt this month, you’ll get a toy soldier thrown in for free :)

Hopefully they’ll bring back some nostalgic memories for you too :D

The very first t-shirt I ever printed was a limited edition “I like giraffes” design. When I released that original t-shirt, I had no idea how well it would sell. I worried that I might have spent hundreds of pounds on getting the design printed, and that they’d just sit in a box in my room left unsold, because no one would be interested. I couldn’t have been more wrong. The t-shirts got such a positive response, and all 120 t-shirts sold out within a few hours.

Over a year later and I’ve decided to bring out a 2nd edition of the design to celebrate how far things have come. The original video I made to promote the t-shirts now has over 5 million views, which is CRAZY! Also, since that initial design, I’ve brought out a bunch of new t-shirts, hoodies, wristbands, badges, etc.

I’d like to thank anyone who’s ever bought anything from the store, or supported the clothing line in any way. I can’t thank you enough. I still get excited every time I see a new order come in, and I love seeing people wearing their Johnny Durham t-shirts :D

There’s a really nice vegan cafe called Leaf Cuisine that I’ve been to a few times since moving to LA. One time we went, there was a mini parked outside that had the shiniest chrome wing mirrors. The reflection of the green painted building in the background and the blue skies looked pretty funky, so I took a picture :)

I’ve got a couple of new t-shirt designs coming out next month, so I’ll post info about them soon. Just fancied posting a couple of pictures first x
